Ingredients
  • 120 grams ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon palm sugar
  • 5 grams garlic (chopped)
  • 5 bird’s eye chilies
  • 10 grams holy basil leaves (10 gr ~ one handful)
  • coriander seeds (roasted, for garnish)
  • cumin leaves (for garnish) (crushed, for garnish)
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 steamed rice
  • 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Fill a hot wok with oil.

  2. Stir-fry the garlic and chilies until they start to brown.

  3. Include the ground beef and stir-fry it for 75% done.

  4. Include the ingredients and fully cook the mixture.

  5. Finish by stirring in the holy basil leaves before turning off the heat.

  6. Cook the egg to your preference.

  7. Spread the rice out on the platter and top with the pad krapao. The fried egg should then be added on top.

  8. Add crushed cumin leaves and roasted coriander seeds as a garnish.

Note

Chef tip: To get the greatest flavor from the dish, use rib-eye rather than tenderloin and cook it "medium rare."
