This dish is quite easy to prepare and has a great sticky-sweet flavor from the marinade. The skewers are excellent for the barbecue, too.

Rosa Thai’s Grilled Pork Skewers In Thai Marinade Recipe by Chef Saiphin Moore

For marinade

For dipping sauce

Instructions

  1. Using a pestle and mortar, pound the garlic, peppercorns, coriander roots, and coriander seeds

  2. Stir in the cornstarch, vegetable oil, sugar, honey, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly

  3. Meanwhile, soak eight wooden skewers in water for a bit.

  4. Heat a grill or griddle to a high temperature. In the meantime, skewer the marinated pork (2 or 3 slices per skewer).

  5. Grill (or griddle) the skewers for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, or until fully done

  6. Combine the ingredients of the dipping sauce. Mix them well

  7. Serve the skewers with the dipping sauce and sticky rice
