• Chef Tu David Phu is a Vietnamese-American who hails from the South Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc, where his family has been producing award-winning fish sauce for generations. Chef Tu worked in some of the top restaurants in the country, including Chez Panisse, Quince, Acquerello, Daniel Boulud, Breslin, Gotham Bar & Grill, and Gramercy Tavern, after graduating from culinary school. The San Francisco Chronicle named him a 2017 "Rising Star Chef" for his pop-up series that focuses on a Vietnamese tasting menu with dishes that are reminiscent of his upbringing.
