• Pisith is currently the Park Hyatt Siem Reap's executive chef, and one of the most well known chefs in Cambodia now. His father worked as a cook at the famous Hotel de la Paix (now the Park Hyatt) in the early 1960s, where Pisith spent a large portion of his early years. When the Khmer Rouge took control, the family was forced to cease working, so after the war they created a street stand selling noodle soup. Pisith continued working in kitchens, where his abilities were immediately recognized. He was then employed by Park Hyatt Siem Reap and became the 5 star hotel executive chef just few years later.
