• Singaporean Chef Janice Wong is well renowned for her culinary art installations in addition to her work in restaurants, dessert bars, and retail establishments. She has received numerous honors, including being named "Asia's Best Pastry Chef" by the World's 50 Best Restaurants award sponsored by S.Pellegrino for two years running. Retail establishments and manufacturing facilities for her single-origin, bean-to-bar chocolate brand, Janice Wong Pure Imagination, are located in Singapore. Wong made an appearance on a season 7 episode of MasterChef Australia in 2015, where she issued a challenge to the competitors to replicate her complex dessert, the cassis plum. For the Top Chef season 17 finale in 2020, she served as a guest judge alongside Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, and Nilou Motamed.
