Chef and restaurateur Bongkoch "Bee" Satongun, a native of Thailand, is well-known for the Michelin-starred Paste Bangkok restaurant. Chef Bee built 2 more Paste restaurants in Australia and neighboring Laos. By the World's 50 Best Restaurants, in 2018, Satongun was recognized as  for elit Vodka Asia's Best Female Chef. She has been asked to participate in cooking competitions like the 2018 Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival and the yearly Taste of Paris. At the moment, Paste is listed as being the 70th best restaurant in Asia for 2021.
